Why Our Workshops Work
We combine professional expertise with lived experience, creating trust, connection, and tangible impact. Every session is:
Authentic: Real stories and professional insight that participants relate to.
Practical: Tools, techniques, and strategies that can be used immediately.
Engaging: Storytelling, interaction, and exercises keep participants involved.
Versatile: Tailored for young people, corporate teams, construction sites, emergency services, or community organisations.
Transformative: Participants leave with renewed motivation, resilience, and understanding.
From Children to Adults: Real-Life Expertise
Our programme Safeguarding Me’ ran for nearly a decade in primary schools, supporting Year 6 pupils facing the challenges of growing up.
Central to this programme was Little Billy, a character based on both lived experience and the children we worked with. Through his stories, we addressed issues such as:
Knife crime, gangs, and drugs
Online grooming and cyberbullying
Anger, low self-esteem, and loneliness
Staying safe in the community and on public transport
Family challenges and seeking support
Children were able to relate to Billy’s journey, learn practical safety skills, and develop confidence — giving them tools to navigate real-life risks.
Although Safeguarding Me’ is no longer delivered in schools, the expertise behind it now forms the foundation of our adult workshops, enabling us to deliver sensitive and impactful sessions for organisations of all kinds.
